Julia Marie (Mitchell) Cone died peacefully at her home on Sunday October 26, 2014. Julia was born on June 5, 1932 in Gladwin, Michigan to the late Anselm and Sarah (Reilly) Mitchell. On May 26, 1951, Julia married Charles Earl Cone, Jr. in Midland, Michigan. Julia is survived by her husband Charles ‘Earl’ Cone and five children: Mary Jo (Larry) Lang of Midland, Bill (Lynne) Cone of Pittsburg, Margaret Cone of Detroit, Karen (Steve) Martin of Midland and Paul (Susan) Cone of Saginaw.
She is also survived by her sister Cecilia (Jim) Lichon of Saginaw, seven grandchildren: Chelsea, Alicia, Matthew, Andrew, Caroline, Paul and Heather; one great grandchild, Avery; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Julia was predeceased by her infant brother, James Mitchell and sisters: Rosalie Hamburg, Margaret Rice, Virginia Mathieu and Loretta Kelly.
