Julia Marie Koons, 87, of Indianapolis passed away February 12, 2018. She was born June 15, 1930, in Bargersville, to Fred and Gertrude Byers. Julie was married the late Ralph E. Koons on January 26, 1960, in Bedford, Kentucky. Together, they had spent over 30 years in Sebring, Florida. Julie was line worker at Dow Chemicals for 26 years, retiring in 1980.
Julie is survived by sons Jerry Koons (Sandy) and Dennis Koons; stepson David Koons (Donna); sister Ada McKnight; 12 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in passing by her husband, parents, son Tom Donahue; stepson Raymond and Michael Koons; and brother Walter, Chester, Joseph and Fred Byers.
