Julia (Tkacz) Leide, 93, of Bristol, passed away at home on Friday, October, 17, 2008. She was the widow of Richard Leide, Sr. She was born in Borkaw, Wisconsin, December 27, 1914 to parents, Martin and Anastasia (Dopart) Tkacz and came to Bristol at the age of 3. She is survived by her children, Richard Leide, Jr. and his wife Jeanne of Bristol, Joyce Bogan and her husband Bob of Bristol, Joann Cap and her husband Claude of New Britain, and Betty Rasmus and her husband Ray of Bristol; her granddaughters and their spouses, Kim and Bob Loycano of Sangus, CA, Susan Bogan of Isle Verde, Puerto Rico, Jennifer and Frank Wollman of Terryville, Tricia and John Galvin of Burlington, Sara and Jason Zytka of Bristol, Amber Andrews of New Britain, and Andrea and John Walsh of Bristol; her great-grandsons, Evan Loycano, Ethan Wollman, Kyle and Noah Galvin; her great-granddaughter, Waverly Loycano; and a favorite nephew, Edward Bendza, Jr. of Burlington. Julia worked in the health care field as a companion and homemaker for many years.
