Julia Duran, 56 of flagstaff passed away Friday January 23, 2009. She was born May 28, 1952 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Ernesto and Susannita Garcia.
She moved to Flagstaff at a young age where she grew up playing volleyball in high school and Graduating from Coconino High in 1970. She enjoyed Cooking, music, the outdoors and dancing. She was a wonderful mother, sister and daughter. She was a outgoing person who had a big heart and will be missed by many.
She is survived by her son Tony (Joni) Duran of flagstaff grand son Randall and granddaughters Robin and Autmn. Father Ernesto Garcia, brothers Leonard and Steve Garcia of Flagstaff, and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her Mother Susannita Garcia, sister Patty Garcia, nephew Jason Garcia and her grand parents.
