Judy Kopesky, 72, of Hackensack, passed away on June 2, 2022, in Brainerd. Judy was born March 31, 1950, in Bemidji to Verlyn & Dorothy (Geving) VanSteenwyk. On December 31, 1967, she married Bruce Kopesky in Walker. After their marriage they lived in Germany before making their home in Hutchinson. Judy was a realtor at Century 21 for several years. She then opened her own business, Crown Financial, where she worked until retirement. After Judy’s retirement, they moved to their seasonal home full time in Hackensack. Judy went to work at Birchview Gardens Assisted Living in Hackensack, continuing her passion for helping people.
Judy loved her stationary. She loved sending cards, printing and spent a lot of time praying for people.
Judy is survived by her husband Bruce, children: Holly (Ross) Seifert, William (Michelle) Kopesky, Tracy (Chris) Meyer; grandchildren: Paige Nordby, Jackson Plekkenpol, Hunter Schofield, Kaley Meyer, Zachery Meyer, Austin Kopesky, Allyson Kopesky, Madison Kopesky; great grandchild Mcguire Nordby, siblings: Robert (Denise) VanSteenwyk and Mike (Linda) VanSteenwyk.
She is preceded in death by her parents Verlyn and Dorothy and sisters: Sandy Pauly and Peggy Andrews.
