Judith Pruett
Judith A. “Judy” Pruett, 72, of Washington Township, PA, died October 1 at Allegheny General Hospital.
She was born Aug. 24, 1939, in Apollo, PA, the daughter of the late J. Robert Hall and Frances (Kerr) Hall Marcantonio. Judy lived in North Washington Township, PA. for the last 12 years. She worked in Inventory Control for the city of Baltimore for 25 years, retiring in 1999. She was a 1957 graduate of Arnold High School and a very active member of New Beginnings United Methodist Church, involved in many committees and organizations.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sherman E. “Ed” Pruett, in 1996; son, Travis A. Pruett, in 1969; and grandson, Kyle Thompson, in 1987.
She is survived by her daughter, Robin P. (Richard) Thompson of Greensburg, PA; son, Bob A. (Diane) Pruett of Durham, NC; three grandchildren, Ryan, Stephenie and William; brother, Dennis A. Hall of North Apollo, PA; sister, Marilyn J. (Dennis) Risher of Cuba City, WI; and two nephews, Dale and Michael.
