Judy Marie Riggs, 94, of Pendleton, passed away June 12, 2019 at the Community Hospital Anderson. She was born on March 31, 1925 in St. Louis, Missouri.
Judy was an Insurance Agent for 40 years. She was President of the Anderson Art League and American Business Women’s Association for several years and was currently Program Chairperson.
Judy is survived by her children, Bill (Iris) Armstrong, Mike (Angie) Armstrong, Kathy (Mike) Hershey; grandchildren, Amanda L. Armstrong, Angela L. Armstrong, Mike Earl (Stacy) Armstrong, Laura (Tom) Barker, Josh Rippy, George D. Armstrong, Shane Hershey, Shaun (Tracy) Hershey; great-grandchildren, Hannah (Kyle) Klosterman, Haylee Barker, Ashlee Rippy, Tyler Rippy; Cody Timmerman, Jackson Hershey, Khloe Hershey, Mika Monroe Armstrong; special friends, Ronda, Paula, Barb, Marion, Misty, Sandy, Rhonda and Georgia
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Wilhelmina Kennedy; husbands, George E. Armstrong and Wayne Riggs, and special friend, Gerald Pearson.
