Judy Lynn Merritt Broadbent passed away September 3, 2022 at the age of 65. She was born August 25, 1957 at the Fort Polk Military Base to Richard Gene Merritt and Donna Earleen Cobb.
Judy grew up in the Ogden area and attended Ben Lomond High School. She became a CNA and loved working with seniors in long term care. She married Robert Broadbent on April 29, 1977 in Ogden, UT and they are the parents of 4 children.
Judy loved spending time with her family, reading all kinds of books, doing arts and crafts, genealogy, taking care of people, and going to church. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and loved being an ordinance worker.
Judy is survived by her son, Clinton; daughters, Amanda (Jeffery) Painter, Melissa Lynn “Missa” (Trent) Simper, Autumn Lace (Brian) Beard; brother, Glendon Pewtress; and sisters, Thelma Grogan, Susan Jensen, and Bonnie Lowe; 11 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Neva, and brother, Clyde.
