Judy Lynn Dresbaugh, age 66, of Lake Village, passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at home surrounded by loved ones. She was born December 8, 1951 in Kankakee, Illinois to Bernard and Mildred (Cain) Brownfield, both deceased. On June 8, 1968, Judy married Herbert Dresbaugh Jr., in Lake Village, IN. Judy was affiliated with the Community Christian Reformed Church of Roselawn.
She loved being around family and spoiling her grandchildren. Judy enjoyed going out to eat with friends & family, and daily chats with her best friend, Peggy. Judy has been reunited with her oldest son, Herbie III after 19 years of missing him dearly.
Judy is survived by her husband: Herbert Dresbaugh Jr. of Lake Village, IN; mother-in-law: Donna Dresbaugh; children: Michael (Michelle) Dresbaugh of Lake Village, IN; Dawn (Randy) Peterson of DeMotte, IN; 5 grandchildren: Reece, Sydney, Jake, MacKendzie, and McKinley; god-mother of Victoria Bailey; siblings: Shirley (Don) Bushman, Linda (Wayne) Telford, James (Sue) Brownfield, Joyce (Chet) Kwiatkowski, Kenny Brownfield; numerous nieces & nephews.
Judy was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Herbert Dresbaugh Sr., and brother, Danny Brownfield.
