Judith Kay “Judy” Vaughn, 79, of Anderson, passed away on July 1, 2021, at her home due to Parkinson’s Disease and advanced cancer. She was born on September 21, 1941, in Anderson, Indiana, and resided here all of her life.
She graduated from Madison Heights High School in 1959 and was a homemaker who loved her home and working the yard. She also enjoyed going to the casino and had many friends there.
Judy is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Tom Vaughn; children, Ginger (Claude McDonald) Vaughn and Tom Vaughn; siblings, Nancy (Joe) Bolin, Harry (Mary) Porter; three nephews Trevor Nye, Jeff Porter, and Scott Porter; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jim (Sandy) Vaughn, Lela Powers, and Frankie L. Vaughn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther O. and Mary Ellen Porter; brother, Luther “Lutie” J. Porter; grandparents, John and Lena Stahl, and Oscar and Maudie Porter; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill Vaughn, Pug Vaughn, June Pettigrew, Joe Vaughn, and Marsha Vaughn.
