Judy Kay Smith (nee Roth)
Judy was born April 20, 1951 in Washington IA to Eldon and Darlene Roth. The family eventually relocated to Colorado where she graduated from Mitchell High School in 1969. She then met the love of her life, Leon Smith, in 1970 and they were married on February 12 1971. The birth of the couples first child, Chad Jeremy, occurred in 1973 and was followed by there beautiful daughter, Lisa Darlene, in 1976. A dedicated housewife, Judy always put the well-being of others before herself. She devoted her life to caring for her family and friends. She enjoyed listening to her large collection of old record albums and 45s, spending time with her best friend Elaine MacKay and spoiling her 4 grandsons.
Judy passed away peacefully at home on August 18, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.
In addition to her husband and two children, she is survived by 4 grandsons: Nicholas, Connor, Brennen and Gavin. She is also survived by three brothers: Jerry (Deb) Roth, Dennis (Lynn) Roth, Mike (Tammy) Roth and by many extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eldon and Darlene Roth.
Judy will always be lovingly remembered by all her family and friends.
