Surrounded by her loving family, Ardmore native Judy Gail Grammer, 63, passed away peacefully Saturday, June 22, 2019, at her residence following a valiant struggle with cancer.
Judy was born August 12, 1955, at Ardmore, to the late Harvey and Minna (Harrison) Grammer. The majority of Judy’s life was spent in Ardmore, but also included time in Tulsa, OK, Alexandria, LA and Fort Worth, TX. Judy was a graduate of Plainview High School, the class of 1973.
Judy attended the Southern Oklahoma Technology Center where she received her nursing degree and became a Licensed Practical Nurse. She worked in the offices of several physicians; and then for many years at the Medical Arts Clinic. Judy loved her nursing career and was devoted to the care of others for most of her life.
Judy and Ronald Glen Blevins were married in 1977 at Ardmore; he preceded her in death in 1981. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Grammer.
Judy is survived by her loving son, Ronald Glen Blevins Jr. (Lisa Blevins) of Eden Prairie, Minnesota, her grandchildren, Weston James and Camryn Kristine Blevins and a brother, Michael Grammer.
In addition to her family, co-workers and friends, Judy had a love for animals of all types, but most of all dogs.
