Judy Elaine Lane Friello, 62, of Palatka, passed from this life on Saturday, May 22, 2021, at North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville following an extended illness. Born in Gainesville and raised in Palatka, Judy was a 1977 graduate of Palatka South High School.
She returned to Palatka in 2018 moving from Schenectady, New York. Years ago, Judy worked as a waitress at several local restaurants including Angels, Jerry’s Drive-In, and Pizza Hut. While living in New York, she had been the manager of a Dollar Tree Store in Albany, NY. Judy was an active member of Southside Baptist Church in Palatka where she had been involved with the prayer train ministry. In her leisure time, Judy enjoyed ceramics and thoroughly loved doing things with her grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lanell W. Lane and Dewey Lane, Sr., a sister, Cindy Vinson, and a brother, Dewey Lane, Jr.
