Judy D. Weigand, age 81, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at her home in Wisconsin Rapids.

Judy was born on March 23, 1941 to Wayne and Geraldine Amundson in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. Judy married the love of her life on August 29, 1959 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Rapids. They were blessed with four children and 63 years of marriage.

Judy worked as a school bus driver for several years, and competed in the school bus rodeo, winning an award for her driving skills. In 1975, Judy helped plant 40,000 trees when her and Robert joined the Consolidated Paper tree farm family. In her younger years she enjoyed spending time riding her Arabian horse, and later appreciated learning about ragdoll cats, including her treasured cat Molly.

Judy truly loved and was deeply devoted to her family; above all, she always emphasized the importance to be a close family and to stay connected.  Judy was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, she was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel, and attended Immanuel Lutheran School. Through the years she served as an avid member of the Evening Guild at church, and was always volunteering at Immanuel Church and School whenever she could.

She was a devoted wife and mother, and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Judy is survived by her loving husband and best friend Robert Weigand; Three sons: Brian (Elizabeth) Weigand, Bradley (Jodi) Weigand, and Randall Weigand; Daughter: Heidi (Richard) Wadnal; Five grandchildren: Jenna (Brent) Self, Kurtis Terril, Zachary (Ashley) Weigand, Kristofer (Megan) Terril, and Tristin (Emily Chadwick) Weigand; Three great-grandchildren: Erin Self, Savannah Self, and Lacey Mae Weigand. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Geraldine Amundson.
