Judy Caldwell, 70, of Southside, Arkansas, passed from this walk of life on Tuesday, April 23, 2019, at her home in Southside, Arkansas.
She was born in Newport, Arkansas on July 8, 1948, daughter of the late Ralph and Fayon (Johnson) Smith. Judy spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She was united in marriage to William H. Caldwell on August 5, 1966 in Newport, Arkansas. Judy worked in the school system as a teacher’s aide as well as a homemaker. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in LaPorte, Indiana.
Judy is survived by her husband, William H. Caldwell of Southside; children, William Harvey Caldwell and wife Mandy of Southside, Arkansas and Annette Burfield and husband Tom of Southside, Arkansas; granddaughter, Ashley Weathers; four grandsons, Nick Weathers, James Caldwell, Todd Burfield and Karsun Caldwell; three great grandchildren, Paige Barnhouse, Anthony Barnhouse and Susen Barnhouse, and five brothers, Elmer Smith of Flint, Michigan, Gary Smith of Flint, Michigan, Huey Smith of Tupelo, Arkansas, David Smith of Newport, Arkansas, and Randy Smith of Salado, Arkansas and two sisters, Linda Book of Concord, Arkansas and Mary Hendrix of Tuckerman, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Fayon Smith and brother, Sammy Smith.
