Our cherished mother, grandmother, and friend, Judy Ann Smith, 76, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2022. Judy was born October 12, 1945 the daughter of Henry Cliff Rogers and Margaret Evelyn Wilberg. She graduated from Emory High School and was a member of the Faith Baptist Church. Among her many hobbies Judy truly enjoyed reading, literally on any topic, but especially books on crime, love, and faith. She especially loved crocheting, going on long drives, cooking, and cleaning were also some of her favorite activities. At home she loved friends, neighbors, spending time with anyone that made her laugh, she enjoyed almost anything. Judy cherished spending time with her daughter Malissa McLendon and her grandson Isaiah Earl McLendon-Tesch. Judy had a great love for her profession as a secretary in Configuration Management at Hill Air Force Base, she truly enjoyed her employment.
It was my honor having this Angel as my mother, and she was honored knowing her grandson. We are her world, she shines through us. Love u mom
Judy is survived by her daughters Malissa (Coleen Kelly Lester) McLendon Carrera, Rhona Head, grandchildren Whitney Head and Nikki Bruen. Judy Smith Rodgers is preceded in death by her father Henry Cliff Rogers, mother Margaret Evelyn Wilberg and brother Robert Earl Rogers.
