Judson L. Juddie Durham, 80, of Wenona, peacefully passed away in his home at 711 Durham Lane on October 18, 2011, surrounded by his loving family after fighting a courageous battle against cancer. Judson was born in Toluca, on March 21, 1931, to Michael Judson Durham and Sonya Belle Faw.
He Married JoAnn Foster on August 10, 1957, at St. Mary’s rectory in Wenona. He served in the U.S. Army for eight years, 1948 through 1956, serving in England and Germany during the Korean War. Judson graduated from Toluca High School. He was a Chrysler and General Motors ASE Certified Master Automotive Technician and Co-owner of Foster Motor Sales, Inc in Wenona. Later, he was employed at PIPCO companies in Peoria for 16 years.
He is survived by his wife, three sons; (twins) Michael, Wenona, Il, Mark (Tammie), Varna, and Jamie (Rhonda), Wenona, and three daughters; Juli (Buzz) Buckles, Cheyenne, WY, Jan (Bernie) Stehl, Magnolia, Il, and Jodi (David) Gerjets, Toluca, Il. He has five grandsons and four granddaughters, two great-grandsons, and two great-granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, several brothers, and sisters, nephews, and nieces.
