She was a Homemaker and member of Olive Branch Baptist Church. Also past member of Eastern Star. She enjoyed reading and writing poetry. She is survived by her husband of 54 years Earl R. Yow Jr.; two sons, Russell Lynn Yow (Pam), Kenneth Earl Yow both of Durham; and 2 grandchildren, Ashley Gail Yow and Erica Lynn Yow.
