Judith S. Dixon, age 67 of Ashland, OH., passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2010, at Hospice House of North Central Ohio. On February 6, 1943, in Bellaire, OH., Mrs. Dixon was born to the late Arles and Mary Lucy (Wheeler) Carman. She had been a resident of Ashland most of her life. In 2003, Mrs. Dixon retired from Ashland Co. Clerk of Courts after 23 years of service. Formerly she was employed at 1st National Bank. Mrs. Dixon attended Grace Brethren Church and was a member of the G.B.C. Quilt Guild Club.
On November 4, 1961, Mrs. Dixon married Wayne Allen Dixon who survives. Also surviving are 2 sons: Steve Dixon and Michael (Beth) Dixon all of Ashland; 1 grandson; 1 step-grandson; 4 brothers: Ron (Jan) Carman of Mansfield, OH., Dave (Sue) Carman of Marblehead, OH., Ken (Elaine) Carman of Hayesville, OH., and Tim (Mary) Carman of Hayesville, OH.; 1 sister, Kay (Gary) Thompson of Ashland. Mrs. Dixon was also preceded in death by a sister, Ann Goard.
