Judith Sussman was born in Brooklyn, New York on September 21, 1935, and passed away on August 21, 2022, at the age of 86. Although her uncanny humor and spirit will be deeply missed, we know she is with her devoted husband Arthur Sussman. Judith was a proud resident of Albuquerque for over 50 years building beautiful friendships and contributing to her community like lovingly baking Challah at Congregation Albert every Friday with her “Challah Gang.”
She is a beloved mother and grandmother to her daughters Hannah Sussman and Rachel Sussman-McLeod; granddaughters Masha Brumer, Esmé Brumer, Katie McLeod, Elizabeth McLeod, and Naomi McLeod. She was preceded in death by her brother Dr. Fred Witkoff; her mother Jessie Witkoff; father Maurice Witkoff; and her husband Arthur Sussman.
