Judith Marie Oettle, 59, of Meredosia and a longtime resident of Quincy, died Wednesday, November 10, 2010, in Quincy.
She was born Oct. 20, 1951, in Beardstown, the daughter of Donald Eugene and Anna Helen Gerecke Oettle. She is survived by her mother; sisters and brothers, Mary, Ron and Chris of Meredosia, Patty of Jacksonville and Noel of Kaneville; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Judith was a 1969 graduate of Meredosia-Chambersburg High School, and attended Gem City Business College in Quincy. She then began work for Moorman Manufacturing as the Newsletter Department Secretary for 25 years. Following that she worked for Glenayre before retiring from JK Creative, both in Quincy. She enjoyed Cardinals baseball and the Dallas Cowboys.
