JUDITH M.R. ZEILLER
ZEILLER, JUDITH M.R. (Chardy), 83, passed away on Dec 6, 2011 in Arbor Terrace Assisted Living Facility near Roswell, Ga., from Congestive Heart Failure. She was born to Alfred and Ruth Ricciardi on October 27, 1928 in Leonia, NJ.
Chardy graduated from Purdue University in 1951. She began her 36 year airline career with Lake Central Airlines in Indianapolis, moved to Miami to work for National Airlines in reservations and ticketing, and retired from Pan American World Airways in 1986, where she worked in the Clipper Club.
During their 47year marriage Chardy, and her husband Mickey, lived in Coral Gables and South Miami. She was an active volunteer in the community and her children’s schools, a proud member of the Christopher Columbus Booster Club, Board Member for the Marina Lakes Townhome Assoc., a Patron of the Museum of Science, an Honorary Member of the Rotary Club of Coral Gables and volunteered at the Pan Am Aware Store. After retiring, Chardy volunteered in the Property Room at the Coral Gables Police Department for over 16 years.
Chardy was a wonderful wife and mother, and was lovingly known as Jammie to her grandchildren. Chardy was predeceased by her husband Mickey and is survived by her daughter Dianne Beidel (Paul) of Roswell, GA and son Todd Zeiller of Naples, FL, and grandsons, PJ, Brett, & Grant Beidel and Dylan Zeiller.
