Judith K. Pedersen, age 68, passed away Sunday, March 31, 2013 at her home in Oswego.
She was born July 4, 1944, the daughter of Alvin E. and Harriet (Lester) Kuhlman.
Judith received her Bachelor and MBA degrees from Aurora University and worked for many years within the Illinois Department of Corrections serving as a Correctional Counselor. She enjoyed arts and crafts of all types and was an avid antiques collector. Judith also enjoyed quilting creating keepsakes for her family. She was a wonderful loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister and will be dearly missed by all those who knew her.
Judith is survived by her children Kari Pedersen of Oswego and Krissa (Gene) Myrda of Rochelle; grandchildren Stephen Pedersen, Brian Myrda and Staff Sergeant Christopher (Amber) Myrda; great grandchildren Makayla, Conner and Lucas Myrda; brother George Kuhlman of Florida; and aunt Ruth Lester of Florida. She is also survived by many cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son Kyle.
