Judith K. Brewer-Bauer, 73, of Washington passed away Monday, September 5, 2016 at Unity Point Health-Methodist.
She was born on December 28, 1942 in Peoria the daughter of William and Lois Crank Schroen. She married Frank Brewer on July 5, 1975 and he preceded her in death on November 2, 2002. She later married John Bauer on March 30, 2012 in Morton.
Surviving is her husband of Morton, two brothers Ronald L. Schroen and Richard W. Schroen along with one nephew Derek (Leslie) Schroen all of Washington.
She was a 1961 graduate of Washington Community High School and from Midstate College of Commerce in 1963. Judy was a four-year member of the Washington High School Band playing tenor-saxophone.
She worked for OSF Hospital for 30 years last working in housekeeping before retiring in 2004.
Due to poor health and diabetes, she had been a resident of Morton Villa Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center for the past several years.
