Judith “Judy” Marie Chase, 65 of West Des Moines, IA, passed away on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines.
Judy was born May 17, 1956, in Des Moines, IA, daughter of Theodore Lee and Glendora Mae (Kissinger) Woods. She received her education at St. Theresa Catholic School in Des Moines and later graduated from Dowling Catholic High School in 1974.
Judy married Dennis Chase and they made their home in the Des Moines and Earlham areas.
Judy was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church and St. Theresa Catholic Choir.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, David, Mark and Tom.
Judy is survived by her husband Dennis, six children, Jon Chase of Des Moines, Jennifer Coffin (Scott) of Des Moines, Kim Reynolds (Josh) of Dexter, IA, Christine Chase of Des Moines, Nicholas Chase (Katie) of Waynesville, MO and Megan Turner (Tyreesha) of Greenfield, IA, grandchildren; Tristen, Riley, Zane, Quinton, Ethan, Landon and Janna, siblings, Barbara Woods, Patty (Jerry) Imhoff, Joan Wright, Nancy (Steve) Squire, Jim (Sue) Woods, Kate (Joe) Sehr and sister-in-law Sue Black, aunts Dolores Sheen, Gerda Hillyard, Susan Churchill, and Nancy Hall.
