Judith (Judy) Kuhn, 55, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away on Friday, September 30, 2022, at Aspirus Hospital in Wausau, Wisconsin with her partner, Timothy Kluck, and family at her side.  Born in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin on April 21, 1967, she was the youngest of 12 children born to Harry Hank and Beulah Winifred (Hill) Kuhn.

Judy was a graduate of Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids and worked for the Kickapoo Valley Cheese Corp. in Sherry.  She met and married Paul Barton in 1989 in Wisconsin Rapids but later divorced.

Timothy Kluck of Milwaukee has been her partner for the past 16 years of her life.  The two loved camping and the outdoors and enjoyed taking their trailer to different campgrounds around the state.  She had fond memories of fishing with her father growing up and carried that love of fishing into adulthood.   She was happiest sitting in a boat with a fishing pole in hand.  Judy also enjoyed gardening and would sit for hours in their vegetable garden, willing the plants to grow, and reflecting on life.  She loved the Green Bay Packers and never missed a game.  Judy was a good cook and baked cookies year-round for anyone who would accept them, especially gifting them at Christmas.  She had a generous spirit and even when money was tight, she found a way each month to donate to the food pantry, remembering family members with gifts, and give to Toys for Tots at Christmas.  She would often pay for other’s food in the drive-through lines and enjoy their smiles of surprise and thanks.

She never had children but considered her cats as children and loved spoiling them.  Her beloved cat, Zena, survives who is now 15 years old.

Judy is survived by Timothy Kluck, along with nine brothers and sisters:  Bruce (Joy) Kuhn, Phillips; Barbara (Clay) Peterson, Wausau; Stanley (Cheryl) Kuhn, Hancock; Lloyd (Mary) Kuhn, Nekoosa; Linda (Bob) Kronstedt, Arpin; Holly Kuhn, Wisconsin Rapids; Harry (Anna McConnell) Kuhn, Wisconsin Rapids; Duane Kuhn, Wisconsin Rapids; and Debra (Roger Peterson) Kuhn, Wisconsin Rapids.  She also leaves behind many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, oldest sibling Lawrence Harry Kuhn, ex-husband Paul Barton, oldest sister Sharon Matthewson, brother-in-law James Matthewson, Sr., ex-brother-in-law Raymond Ringer, and niece Kira Kuhn.  Her family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Aspirus Hospital in Wausau for their care and compassion during her stay.
