Born on Sept. 5th, 1954 to Melvin and Phyllis MacKillip, she was the apple of her parents’ eye. A bonafide daddy’s girl and her mother’s “little doll,” she arrived into the world “pink and golden.” The sparkle in her eye and the smile on her face followed Judy through the years, matched only by her sense of fun and adventure, and her artistic pursuits. Graduating with a BA in Fine Arts from the University of Colorado, Boulder, she was an exceptional jewelry-maker. Her gifts as an artist continually evolved as she worked her magic quilting, knitting, crocheting – always in the midst of multiple projects, that was her MO.
