She was born on December 6, 1946, in Peoria, IL, to Bert and Alberta (Netting) Allison. She married Leland S. Ioerger on February 6, 1970, in Spring Bay, IL. He passed away on September 3, 2004.
Surviving are her children, Leland (Christy) Ioerger, Jr. of Roanoke, Robert (Dana) Irwin of Spring Bay, William “Bill” (Teresa) Ioerger of Burlington, IA, and Deanna (Eric) Zimmerman of Metamora; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren with one great-granddaughter on the way; and siblings, Ann (Jim) Reed of Washington, IL and Terry (Laurie) Bobblit of Pekin, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter Taylor Rudd, great-grandson Tucker Upton, and brothers Donnie and Bert.
