Judith Diane Hack (Judy), a longtime resident of Bloomington, Indiana, died at Garden Villa Rehabilitation Center on January 24, 2020. She was 79 years old.
Judy was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on February 17, 1940 to Forrest and Loretta Hindsley. She graduated from North Central High School and married the love of her life, Myron J. Hack twice: once on January 23, 1959 and again on January 23, 1998.
Judy enjoyed a career as a certified Addictions Counselor and worked for Center for Behavioral Health and Amethyst House for many decades. Her ability to recognize the depths and breadth of pain was astounding and you were never to feel shame or guilt in her presence. She helped many find lasting sobriety.
She was an astrologer, avid animal lover, and sang “Christopher Robin” to every child she ever loved.
She is proceeded in death by her parents and her husband.
She is survived by two daughters, Kendra Coates of Unionville and Amanda Abrell of Freedom, as well as 4 grandchildren: Jessica Jagger (Brett) of Danville, Devon Coates of Bloomington, Sam Coates of Bloomington, and Sarah Abrell of Indianapolis. Judy also had the privilege of knowing and loving her great-granddaughter, Kate L. Jagger of Danville.
Judith wished to be cremated.
