Big Pool, MD – Judith Ann “Judy” Tucker 76, of Big Pool, MD passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, MD.
She was born on June 12, 1946, in Punxsutawney, PA to the late Thomas Edwin Mallory and Helen Jane (Farmery) Mallory.
Judy was a 1964 graduate of Punxsutawney High School.
She was employed as a sales clerk at The Bon Ton in Hagerstown, MD for 22 years until her retirement in 2008.
She was a member of Smithport United Methodist Church in Smithport, PA.
Judy also spent a year at The University of Maryland Hospital working in various departments after receiving her associate’s degree from Maryland Medical Secretarial School. She also worked as a lunch aid for 6 years at Clear Spring Middle School.
Judy enjoyed antiquing with her husband.
She is survived by her husband Henry C. Tucker, II whom she married on December 12, 1965; son Kevin R. Tucker of Big Pool, MD; daughter Wendy L. Tucker of Hagerstown, MD; grandchildren: Nathan Q. Tucker (Brooke), Alison Z. Tucker, Hollyann C. Sirbaugh, and Alexander D. Sirbaugh; brother Larry R. Mallory (Gay) of Glen Campbell, PA; various beloved granddogs and grandcats.
In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by a brother Thomas “Tommy” Mallory and daughter in law Terri L. Tucker.
