Judith Ann Hamm, 77, of Jacksonville, IL, died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2022, at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital.
She was born Mar. 24, 1944, in Birmingham, AL, the daughter of Wellington F. “Cody” and Margaret I. Long Clayton. She married William “Bill” Hamm and he survives.
She is also survived by three sons, Kevin Werries of Chatham, Brian (Tori) Werries of Meredosia, and Dennis (Melanie) Werries of Vancouver, Canada; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and one brother, James W. (Vickie) Clayton of Jacksonville.
Mrs. Hamm was a 1962 graduate of Jacksonville High School. She then graduated from Jacksonville School of Public Nursing in 1975. She had worked as an L.P.N. in Jacksonville since 1975.
