Judith Ann (Bennett) Richardson passed away on July 8, 2023, in Bethany, OK at the age of 83. “Judy” was born to parents George and Evelyn Bennett on August 10, 1939, in Mustang, OK, where she grew up with her three brothers. Graduating from US Grant High School, she spent the rest of her life in the Mustang, OK area. She and her husband Allen Richardson were married for 38 years before his passing in 2019. Throughout Judy’s life, she was known for her love of basketball, dancing, music, and her family. She worked as an Administrative Assistant with the Oklahoma State Department of Corrections for many years. Judy will be missed by all who knew her and loved her dearly.
Judy Richardson is preceded in death by her loving husband Allen Richardson, parents George and Evelyn Bennett, and brother Charles Bennett. Judith is survived by her son David and wife Sheri Ferguson, daughter Kelly Wear and husband Thomas Boren, and stepdaughter Vicki Richardson; grandchildren Ashley Klinekole, Justin Ferguson, and Brooke Wear; great-grandchildren Alex, Chloe, and Maya; brothers Donnie Bennett, James and wife Bobby Bennett; and many additional family members.
Judy’s life will be remembered with a service on Friday, July 14, 2023, at 10 AM at Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary in Yukon.
