Judith A. Staiti, age 72 years, of Plymouth, died Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington following a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Francis J. Staiti Sr., and the daughter of the late Enos and Rita (Jerrard) Reggiannini. She was born and raised in Brockton, and has lived in California, Bridgewater and Pembroke before making her home in Plymouth in 1978, where she lived most of her life. She was a graduate of Brockton High School and Babson College. Her family enjoyed summers in their cottage on White Horse Beach in Plymouth for many years. Judy began her career in Plymouth as a banker at the Plymouth Federal Savings Bank and later at the Community Bank, Compass Bank, and Sovereign Bank. Judy was very involved in her community. She enjoyed volunteering and numerous events in the area, as well as advocating for student banking in the Plymouth Schools, and working on the Plymouth parades, and could be seen playing “Mrs. Clause” on the Christmas float. She also enjoyed arts and painting, and trips to different casinos in the area. She and her husband Frank enjoyed extensive traveling. Judy’s greatest love were the times she enjoyed with her family and friends, especially when she was entertaining and cooking family dinners. Besides her loving husband Frank, with whom she celebrated her 49th anniversary on October 5th, she is survived by her children Tammy Hicks and her husband Thomas of Plymouth and Francis Staiti Jr. and his wife Diana of Plymouth, her two grandchildren Harrison and Holly Hicks, as well as, several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Rita Colson.
