Judith A. Criscuolo, (LeBel), 79, passed away Jan. 28, 2019, with family at her side at the Kaplan Family Hospice House, following a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease. She was the daughter of the late C. Earle Aaskov and Virginia (Cornish) Aaskov. Judith was raised in Portland Maine and graduated from Deering High School, 1957. She was an outstanding Athlete (field hockey, basketball, and softball) and voted “most athletic”-Sr. Yr. Superlatives. Judith worked as a legal secretary in the offices of Goldman and Mears, Peabody, MA, from where she retired. She leaves her husband: Giulio Criscuolo, a sister Carol and her husband Ray, of Maine, her former husband Roger LeBel, of Henderson, NV. They met and married in ME. Life brought them down to settle and raise their children in Peabody, MA. Together they had 4 sons- Roger LeBel Jr. (Peabody, wife Dayna) Robert LeBel (Danvers, wife Janice), David LeBel (Middleton, wife Elise) and Peter LeBel (Dracut). She was the grandmother of, Robert LeBel Jr., Nicholas LeBel, Alexis LeBel, Sophia LeBel, Lauren LeBel, Ava LeBel and Michael Burke. Judy’s children and grandchildren were the pride and joy of her life, the legacy of Judy’s kind spirit, passion for sports and devotion to her family will live on through them. Judy and Giulio, her loving husband of over 25 years had a collaborative and caring relationship. It was based on mutual support and a deep love for each other.
