WEST HARTLAND Judith (Judy) A. Anstett, passed away peacefully March 21, 2008 as her family surrounded her. Born June 7, 1934 in Winsted, CT, Judy grew up and lived in Winsted nearly her entire life. She attended local schools and graduated from the Gilbert School in 1953. Judy was a very loving and giving person as she raised her family being a very dedicated Wife, Mother and Grandmother. After high school, Judy worked at the First National grocery store, Sears, Roebuck & Co., and Montgomery Ward. Judy served as a Girl Scout Leader and was the first woman to drive a school bus for the Martin Riiska Bus Service. Judy was an enthusiastic baker and cook, and later in life she traveled to many places including Egypt and Central America. Judy went to work for CIGNA Corporation in 1978 and then on to ING in the early nineties. Judy was predeceased by her parents Francis (Cyr) Sullivan originally from Presque Isle Maine, and Albert Sullivan originally from Sheffield, England. She is survived by her husband of fifty-five years, William J. Anstett Sr., six children and their families, Raine Anstett and John Pedersen, Lynne M. Obegenski, William J. Anstett Jr. And Colleen McGhee, Kevin Anstett, Mary and Stu Carver, and Frank and Michelle Anstett, fifteen grandchildren; Christopher, Jonathan, Melanie, Dane, Brad, Kendra, Maggie, Matt, Jonna, Jessie, Tara, Joey, Nolan, Ella & Frankie, two brothers and their families Albert Sullivan and Gary Sullivan and Lucretia, sister in laws, Carol Anstett and Eleanor Sullivan, good friends, Pat and Anita, two aunts, Tootsie and Mae that predeceased Judy, along with many cousins, nieces, nephews.
