Juanita H. (Nety) Thrasher, 85 formerly of Huntington, IN, currently of Gulfport, Mississippi passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at her residence in Gulfport, Mississippi. She was born December 12, 1926 in New Castle, IN to Charles R. Geraldine E. Hartt Wilson. Her parents preceded her in death. She married Gordon E. Thrasher on December 15, 1946.
He preceded her in death in 2000. Mrs. Thrasher was a former employee of Utrad and later worked as a secretary for the Huntington Fire Department for thirteen years until retirement in May, 2000. She was a member of Central Christian Church, Huntington, IN. She was an Honorary Member of Psi Iota XI Sorority and a charter member of the Dandelion Club.
Survivors include: 1 Son: James A. (Marsha) Thrasher. 1 Daughter: Jodee Ann Collins, 1 Brother: Dick E. (Jackie) Wilson, and 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild She was preceded in death by one Sister: Sharon Ann Wilson.
