Our Sweet Mother Juanita aka Nita was born on 09 June 1943 in Layton, Utah the Daughter of Sergio and Felicita Fernandez Trujillo. Nita was raised by her Godparents George and Phyliss Anton. Nita attended school in Layton, UT. Nita married Daniel D Martinez and had three wonderful children. After they divorced, Nita met and married Donald Zitting, Jr.

Mom was a true believer of God, she spoke with such love, compassion, tenderness and understanding of God’s word that even nonbelievers stopped and took notice. She could recite the bible front to back, which gave comfort always but more so in her final days as it did to her children.

Mom loved fishing, camping, bingo, penny slots machines, singing with her sisters and TV. Mom would often joke that she hoped that they had good TV shows in heaven and no commercials or streaming lag. Mom had a warm welcoming smile, and a loud contagious laugh that could be heard sometimes blocks away. Mom knew no strangers as people were drawn to her, she could talk to a complete strange and within five minutes it would seem like they were old friends that happen to run into each again.

Nita is survived by her Children Robbie D. Martinez, Monty D. Martinez, Danielle L. Feasel (Martinez, Cahill), Arrene N Zitting-Myers (Jon Myers) and Stepdaughter Sherril Johnston (Zitting, Sternhagen) (Keith Johnston) and adopted by love Abraham Tozier.
