Juanita Porter was born on September 20, 1925 and passed from this life on December 17, 2015. Juanita was an wonderful wife, mother and homemaker. She was the peacemaker for everyone around her. She was a great cook. There was nothing she cooked that wasn’t amazing. Her pies, dressing, coleslaw, breads and cobblers were especially amazing. She loved to exercise and was an avid reader of romance novels. She was a romantic at heart.
Juanita is survived by her loving children, Robert Porter and his wife Dawn, Bobby Joe Porter and his wife Lisa, Rebecca Parks and her husband Rick, and Julie Porter; her adoring grandchildren, Gabrielle Carlson, Caitlin Porter, Athena Hass, Justin Neil Porter, Shannon Marlow and Dustin Marlow; nine great-grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Juanita will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
