Juanita Maxine Jordan, 82, of Anderson, passed away on November 20, 2012 at the Saint John’s Health System Anderson, IN.

She was born on January 16, 1930 in Anderson, Indiana and resided most of her life in Anderson. She is a retired Bookkeeper for Fort Benjamin Harrison after over 30 years and had worked in several areas of finance center, retiring in 1988. She was a lifetime member of the First Pentecostal Church.

She was baptized in Jesus’ name in July 1938 in a creek in the back country of Alabama. She received the Holy Ghost with speaking in other tongues on July 11, 1948 at the First Pentecostal Church, then located at the corner of 19th and Lincoln. She is survived by a nephew, Reno Jordan Brown and her church family.

She was preceded in death by her parents Angie Cunningham Jordan in 1991, Reno Jordan in 1978; brother, Reno Jordan Jr in 1935 and sister, Bonnie L. Wetzel in 1985.
