Juanita “”Eileen”” Mason, 82, Huntington, IN, passed away Thursday, September 13, 2012 at 4:15 PM at Norwood Health and Rehabilitation, Huntington, IN. Eileen Mason was born July 15, 1930 in Xenia, IL to Glenn and Emma (Goen) Taylor. Eileen married Vernon Mason on May 14, 1947. He preceded her in death March 16, 1994. Mrs. Mason is a member of the First Church of the Nazarene, Huntington, IN.
She retired from Memcor after 30 years of service, she loved reading, Bingo, shopping, playing cards, flower gardening and the Chicago Cubs. Survivors include: four sons: Vernon “”Les”” Mason, Huntington, IN, Stephen Mason and wife Sharon, Huntington, IN.; Bruce Mason and wife Bernice, Mesa, Arizona and Aaron Mason and wife Ann, Huntington, IN; one daughter: Connie and husband Rex Jacquay, Decatur, IN. 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by five brothers, John, Rex, Glenn (Pud), Herschel and Phil Taylor; one sister Wanda Welty and grandson: Christopher Mason.
