Juanita “Lois” Holsomback was called to heaven, on February 7th, 2017.
Lois was born to Earl and Lucinda Small, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, on September 10th, 1941. She was blessed to grow up alongside her five siblings. Although she loved Oklahoma, it was Arizona that she decided to call home. Lois moved to Arizona in 1961 to start a teaching career in Ashfork. It wasn’t long until she met, the love of her life, Charles Holsomback. They decided to settle in Flagstaff and to begin raising a family. It was when her three boys were born, that Lois’ true life journey began.
Besides being the best mother that you could ever imagine, Lois was dedicated to the Lord. She served as the church secretary, for Greenlaw Baptist Church, for many years. She truly lived her life by the belief to put God first and He will provide you with all you need in life. If you were blessed enough to know Lois, then you knew kindness, laughter, and love.
Lois is survived by her three sons: Jeremy (Judy), Joel (Sherry), and Jonathan (Alyshia); her siblings: Ray (Jessie Faye), Lawrence (Phyllis), LaVonne (Gary), and Sandy (Wayneath): and countless other friends and loved ones that she considered family.
Lois is rejoined in death with her one and only Charles. She will also be welcomed into her eternal life by her parents, sister Dorothy, and brother Roy Lee.
