Juanita L. Rucker, 89, of Brighton, passed away May 13, 2014 in Lakewood. She was born August 13, 1924 in Oshkosh, NE to Pat Phillips and Helen (Bassett). She graduated from Oshkosh High School and went on to marry Ernest M. Baca from Socorro, NM.
Juanita was the Executive Director of Adams County Red Cross for 24 years. She also owned and operated Rucker Realty beginning in the early 1980’s. She also farmed and ranched with her second husband, John A. Rucker, in the Henderson area for many years.
