Our loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend Juanita “Juana” A. Abeyta left this world peacefully with her beloved family by her side on Sunday, January 9, 2022, at the age of 75.
Juana is survived by her children: Daniel Sanchez and wife Heather, Dennis Sanchez, Stephanie Jaramillo (Smith), Russell Smith and wife Janelle; grandchildren: Feliciana, Deven, Nicholas, Julian, Jayla, Russell, Mya, Arya; siblings Celestino, Dolores and husband Miguel, Alejandro and wife Doris, Louisa and husband Joe, Margaret; also many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was born in Los Angeles, California to Julian and Frances Abeyta on July 21, 1946. Juana graduated from Albuquerque High School and received an Associates degree in Early Childhood from CNM. She retired from Siemens and Bernalillo County where she made many good friends.
