Juanita J. Seeger, age 94, of DeMotte, passed away Sunday, May 7, 2017 at Oak Grove Retirement Village.
Juanita was born February 9, 1923, in Alberta, Canada. She was the daughter of Earl J. and Matilda (Vaupel) Pelling. On July 1, 1950, in Oak Park, IL, Juanita married the love of her life, Walter L. Seeger. He preceded her in death on September 21, 2001. Juanita retired from Talman Savings & Loan of Chicago, Illinois. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church of DeMotte.
Juanita is survived by her children: Richard (Edith) Seeger of DeMotte, IN; Barbara (Charles) Kansler of Homer Glen, IL; 3 grandchildren: Jeffrey, Kevin (Morghan), and Courtney Kansler; 1 great grandchild: Walter Kansler; Niece: Nita (Don) Van Vuren of DeMotte, IN; Nephew: Robert (Carmen) Pelling of New Smyrna Beach, FL; many great nieces & nephews.
Juanita is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one brother.
