Juanita Grace Wolfe Lipscomb, 97 of Middleville Community passed away at River Oaks Nursing Home, Thursday, November 22, 2018. She was born May 10, 1921 in Simpson, daughter of the late Harrison Martin Wolfe, Sr. and Ollie Virginia Shaffer Wolfe. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Carl Lipscomb on February 2, 2014.
Juanita was a graduate of Grafton High School Class 1939. She was a cook for Hepzibah Grade School, worked in the material shop of the WC Grant Sewing Dept in Bridgeport, and as a secretary for the Dept of Signal Corp in the Pentagon in Washington, DC. She was a member of the Middleville Baptist Church where she was church clerk for twenty one years and a fifty year member of the Hepzibah Farm Womens Club. Juanita loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by four children, Carol Drake and husband Donald, Jacksonville, FL, Brenda Tucker and husband Rich, Grafton, Gary Lipscomb and wife Martha, Bridgeport, and Randy Lipscomb, Bridgeport; four grandchildren, Lisa Farance and husband Robert, Sandra Moyer and companion, Lisa Haddix, Darren Drake and wife Anne, Jennifer Drake, two great grandchildren, Ella Drake and Kevin Drake, two step grandchildren, Jeff Tucker and wife Christina, Pat Tucker and wife Beth, four step great grandchildren, Jensen Tucker,Landon Tucker, Haley Tucker, Hattie Tucker, a very special friend, Rosalie Curry, Flemington, several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Darl Wolfe, and Harrison Martin Wolfe, Jr. two sisters, Genevieve Kelley and Irma Kenney.
