Juanita F. Snyder, 89, of Lakeville, passed away Friday, Aug. 28, at South Bend Hospice House.
She was born on Jan. 11, 1926, in Cooper, Texas, to Eugene and Wona (Mills) Bledsoe.
Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn (John) Riddle Sr. and Connie (Dan) Casad, both of Lakeville; one son, Robert (Tisha) Snyder of Hesperia, Calif.; 14 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Preston G. Snyder; one daughter, Sharon Willey; one sister, Leramae Carlisle; and one brother, Huey Eugene Bledsoe.
Juanita was employed for several years as a dental assistant at Camp Maxey in Paris, Texas, and later worked at Easy Heat Wirecraft in Lakeville until her retirement in 1981. She often enjoyed spending time embroidering and making her famous zucchini bread.
