Pendleton – Juanita F. McElfresh, 92, Pendleton, died December 12, 2010 at St. Johns Health System, Anderson Indiana after Brief Illness. She was born April 15, 1918 in Tipton, and resided here since 1961. Juanita was a Homemaker. She was currently a member of the Southdale Church of the Nazarene, where she was involved in Card Ministry.

She had attended the First Presbyterian Church in Anderson and the Reedemer Presbyterian Church in Anderson. She also formerly attended the Faith Assembly of God Church in Anderson and the Southern Heights Christian Church in Anderson. She was very involved in teaching Sunday School and was a Sunday School Superintendent. She was proud to be the first female Elder in the Presbyterian Church for the Central Indiana District.

She is survived by her Three Children, Linda Johnson, husband Pat of Pendleton, Richard McElfresh, wife Linda of Abilene, Texas, and Dottie Nicholas of Pendleton. One Brother, Frank Chambers wife Evie of Muncie. Two sisters, Maxine Knotts of Noblesville and Margaret Butler of Noblesville. Twelve Grandchildren, Lisa Mckenney husband David, Mona Tweedy husband Rick, Terisa Clouse husband Barry, Andrea Johnson, Dawn Yingling, Michael Johnson wife Esther, Dennis McElfresh wife Stacie, Laurie Norton husband Eddie, Melissa Lomax husband John, Melinda Downham husband Todd, Angela Martin, Darrin Nicholas. 28 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren. Several Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded by her Parents, Frank and Lela Chapel Chambers. Husband, Loren McElfresh. Two Brothers and Four Sisters.
