Juanita Caple Burton, age 93, went home to be with her Heavenly Father, surrounded by her loving family on June 18, 2016. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Juanita was born the oldest of three children on May 3, 1923 in Saline County, Arkansas to Myrtle Mize Caple and James Huston Caple.
At the age of thirteen, her father moved the family to Emmett, Idaho where she, her brother and sister grew up. The family moved to Boise in 1943.
Juanita married Leonard L. Burton in Boise, Idaho in 1946. Juanita worked at Dan River Mills, a large textile manufacturer, while they lived in North Carolina for seven years. In 1947, they were blessed with their son Jim.
They then returned to Idaho in 1953 to make Boise their permanent home. Juanita was a member of the Cathedral of the Rockies since 1956 and worked as Production Supervisor for American Linen Supply for thirty-five years.
Juanita was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Leonard Burton; her parents, Myrtle Mize Caple and Jim Caple; brother, Bob Caple; sister, Mary Clow; step-brother, Bill Hughes; step-sisters Evelyn Valez, Lois Shuppen, and Helen Roles; and a very special step-mother, Hazel Caple. She is survived by her son, James Burton and his wife, Judy Burton, sisters-in-law Mary Chrismon, and Joye Caple, and several nieces and nephews.
