Juan Alvarado, 90, went to be with our Lord on Saturday, October 14, 2017, in Harlingen, Texas. He was born March 8, 1927 in Pawnee, Texas to Julian and Consuelo Alvarado. He was in the United States Army & a WWII Veteran. He was a lifetime member of The American Legion Post 205 and VFW 2410.
Juan is preceded in death by his wife, Rita P. Alvarado; parents, Julian and Consuelo Alvarado; brothers, Frutoso and Bartolo Alvarado; and sister, Isabela A. Barrera.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Lupita (Abel) Aguilar, Rose (Jesse) Gonzales, Connie (Sotero) Solis, Janie (Al) Cantu, Mabel (Edward) Cantu; and son, John (Olga) Alvarado. He is also survived by 30 grandchildren, 58 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren.
