Juan Escamilla Zamora, 78, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2016, at Valley Baptist. He was a lifelong resident of Harlingen and an educator. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion Post 205 and enjoyed spending time dancing and playing pool with friends. Juan was also a very talented artist.
He is survived by his sons, Jacob and John Zamora; ex-wife, Violanda Chmielowski; siblings, Baldo, Lupe “Chip-per”, and Humberto, Teresa Zamora.
